The Diocese of New
Zealand consists of two parishes, Mar Odisho in Wellington
and St. Mary's in Auckland. The Priest for both parishes
is Rev. Fr. Toma Kanon, who resides in Auckland.
At present, these
parishes do not have a building of their own. Nevertheless,
all Church services are conducted for the faithful in rented
premises. After the completion of the services, the attendants
gather socially in the Church hall.
In Auckland, Rev.
Toma Kanon is assisted by a Parish Council. A radio program
is available containing information on Church news and other
services, for the faithful.
Undoubtedly, we
can witness that, by the Grace of our Lord and Saviour Jesus
Christ, the endless efforts of the parish priest, deacons
and faithful, our Church and community in NZ, are successful
in preserving our faith, doctrine and language. God bless
them all.
