Quite often our
minds wonder, and think whether the bible provides information
on every aspect of life? Has God the creator, provided
the human race, with all the information required and
sufficient for it to live by; steering it in the direction
of His Heavenly Kingdom?
In the Old Testament,
we read that God guides Moses in the triumph over Pharaoh,
as He promised, "I will be with
you. And this will be the sign to you that it is I that have
sent you: When you have brought the people out of Egypt, you
will worship God on this mountain." Genesis 3:21. From
there on, God informs and guides Moses in every aspect of
His plan, to free the Israelites.
Jesus informed His Disciples how the Holy Spirit would guide
them in their discipleship journey, "When the Spirit
of truth comes, he will guide you into all the truth; for
he will not speak on his own authority, but whatever he shall
hears he will speak, and he will declare to you the things
that are to come." John 16:13. Undoubtedly, and as it
is perceived from the bible, the Spirit guided the disciples
through every aspect of discipleship, making them prudent
with their decision making which exemplifies the flourishing
and effective guidance of the holy bible, within the Holy
Church.
Therefore, it is important to ascertain from the above verses
that God provides guidance for every aspect of His plans,
laws and commandments that govern our lives.
Let us turn to the Holy book and examine a small number
of vital aspects of our Christian life.
