For
the elderly members of the Church (55 years and over),
the Church in Sydney has established an organisation
to cater for the needs of the senior citizens of the
community.
This organisation conducts various activities such as
excursions, tours, English and Assyrian classes, workshops,
etc, spending quite joyous moments with members of their
community.
Additionally, it also gathers vital information from government
organisations and conveys them to its members. Meetings
are held twice a month on Wednesday 10:00am to 12:00pm
in Edessa Hall.
The current committee consist of three members, Mr Eyou
Eyou (President), Mr. Hawil Syamando and Mr. Youarish Barkho.
