St. George Parish Annual Dinner - 22nd November 2008
The Annual St.George Parish Dinner was held on the evening of Saturday 22nd of November 2008 at the Assyrian Australian Social Centre. The annual event is organised to celebrate and review the yearly activities of an ever growing Parish which is based in Sydney's eastern suburbs.
During his speech, His Grace spoke of his desire to see a Priest reside in the eastern suburbs. At the moment, Rev. Younan Mano commutes to the city on a regualr basis to conduct ministries. His Grace outlined the importance of having a Priest living in the local area. His Grace also mentioned that the Church will financially support the Parish in building a Church once land is purchased in the near future.
Guests were treated to a video presentation displaying the Parishs' activities in 2008. We pray that the St.George Parish continues to grow and we ask God to guide them to continue working for Him in the new year.
